In 1992, Attorney Matthew Reale and Fred J. Anthony formed a general practice law firm known as Anthony & Reale in Shelton, Connecticut.
Matthew C. Reale received his Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law in 1989 and he received his Bachelor of Science from Sacred Heart University in 1986. He practiced law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1989 to 1992 with the law firm of Silverman and Jonas, where he gained valuable experience before many administrative and regulatory agencies. Attorney Reale has served as an Associate Adjunct Professor at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Attorney Reale is admitted to practice in Connecticut and Pennsylvania and also The United States Federal District Court. He is a memeber of the Valley and Bridgeport Bar Associations.
Fred J. Anthony graduated from Providence College, in Providence, Rhode Island with a Bachelors Degree in 1986. He received his law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1989, where he presented the commencement address. In 1991, he was appointed Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Shelton and held that post until 1995. In that capacity he represented the City in various municipal actions including zoning enforcement, tax matters, and litigation before several commissions, agencies and courts.
Fred Anthony was elected Judge of Probate for the City of Shelton in 1994 and has been reelected every four years since. In said capacity he presides over a variety of matters including estates, conservatorships, guardianships of children and termination of parental rights.
Attorney Anthony is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and is also admitted to practice before the United States Federal District Court, District of Connecticut and the United States Supreme Court. He sits on the executive board of the National College of Probate Judges and is the Past President-Judge of the Connecticut Probate Assembly. Attorney Anthony is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Milford Bar Association and is a past president of the Valley Bar Association.
